Wonderful place for a relaxing break.
Lovely location and beautiful gardens.
Was a bit noisy with the café underneath the terrace. Reception staff spoke very quickly so was hard for us to understand.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location, very clean, very spacious rooms, good value for money. Fantastic hiking trails nearby, close enough to walk into Aledo, friendly, helpful staff at reception
The staff in the cafeteria/bar were rude and unhelpful. We were not made to feel welcome even as residents, please note this is a different business to the hotel, we could not fault the hotel staff, they were superb.

Comfortable stay in an historic place near to nature
The room was large and spacious in an annexe building next to the swimming pool. They served a buffet breakfast (for an additional fee) with plentiful options. The restaurant served good dinner options at a reasonable price. The location was near nature and country roads. All personnel was very friendly.
It would have been nice to have a short explanation in the room or at reception about this historic place and the facilities available.
